Hifdh-ul-Qur’an Program

And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?(54:17)

Under the guidance of Imam Hafidh Mohammad Abdul Majeed, the Hifdh program offers the opportunity to memorize the Holy Qur’an for all ages with Tajweed (Knowledge and application of the rules of reading Qur’an).
Hafidh Mohammad Abdul Majeed has been teaching Qur’an in the bay area for last nineteen(19) years with his dynamic and vibrant leadership.The students who will graduate from our Hifdh program will be amongst the best.Producing good haffadh is our Prime Focus and this is our specialty and expertise.Our students are from all over the Bay Area.

Pre-Requisite of Hifdh Program

The following requirements need to be fulfilled before being considered as a candidate.

  • Successful completion of the fundamental Qur’an classes
  • Able to read with Tajweed.
  • Enrollment in some form of home schooling program eg. COIL, FAME, Connecting Waters, K12, etc. (for full time Hifdh only). Please see our academics program for more details.
  • Long term commitment of understanding signed by one or both parents.

The Hifdh program requires serious amount of dedication from the student and their family. The workload is strenuous and the time requirement is lengthy. Both the student and the parents need to carefully evaluate their commitment before enrolling into this program.

Full Time Hifdh Program

Hafidh Mohammad Abdul Majeed evaluates the students based strictly upon their capability and then places them in the suitable group so teachers can customize the individual lesson plan for them.Not all students with the desire to become a Hafidh will be able to enter into this intensive program.
The program runs from Monday-Friday from 7am-12 pm. The students get breaks in the middle to play.

Part time Hifdh Program

The part time Hifdh program can be customized according to your child’s schedule from these time slots

Morning        Monday to Friday 6:30AM -8:00AM

Evening         Monday to Friday 4:00PM – 8:00PM

Once the student is accepted into the Hifdh program,Memorization starts from 30th Juz for beginners.The teacher follows a strict schedule of review and recitation.This approach of focusing on repetitive review maximizes the student’s potential by eliminating the possibilities of mistakes. However, the success of this process is highly dependent on the cooperation of parents at home.With Regular updates of your child’s progress in classroom setting,we keep parents involved every step of the way.
